The highly successful Capital Corridors program is a partnership between Tri-County Housing and the City of Harrisburg that invests in neighborhoods and creates high quality housing that is also affordable. 72 abandoned, dilapidated and/or “nuisance” properties have been completely rehabilitated, including new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, new framing and drywall, new flooring, cabinetry and appliances. Through the program, 70 low and moderate income families have been able to purchase high quality and affordable homes.
