Tri-County HDC, Ltd. is a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization that provides the community a full spectrum of housing and redevelopment products. Tri-County HDC, Ltd. offers its funding partners highly leveraged tools designed to improve neighborhoods and positively impact the tax base. Through the completion of fiscally viable projects, Tri-County HDC, Ltd. will increase its capacity and stabilize the communities that it serves.

Tri-County continues to be the premier provider of affordable housing in Central Pennsylvania, and seeks to make its products affordable and available to low-income residents of the region. This is done through aggressively leveraging its projects to gain the most impact from affordable housing dollars.

Tri-County will continue to skillfully leverage federal and private funds to increase the tax base within it target area. Currently Tri-County is developing a workforce housing project in Dauphin County that leverages ever dollar of local funds with twenty from federal and private sources. Real estate taxes will return the County’s investment within the first four years. In Harrisburg, Tri-County is rehabilitating abandoned, blighted properties. This project has increased property values $45,000 per house. Projects like these demonstrate the impact that our projects have on communities.
